Rebecca Caras is an award-winning, Boston based chef with four decades of experience. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• 1976 - Opened her first takeout (charcuterie) business on Huron Ave. in Cambridge.

• Coordinated the opening of the Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

• Opened and designed/general contracted St. Cloud Restaurant in Boston's South End, a 65 seat formal dining room featuring murals painted by local artists, along with a 45 seat bar.

• Opened Rebecca's Restaurant and the first of Rebecca's Cafes, both located on Beacon Hill. The    restaurant, also 65 seats, featured an open kitchen, daily menu, an upstairs catering kitchen, and a  takeout store (Rebecca's Cafe).

• Catered Walter Gropius 85th birthday celebration.

• Private Chef to Boston Mayor Kevin White at the Parkman House.

• Fed Queen Elizabeth of England and Queen XXX of Norway for the 1976 Tall Ships Celebration.

• Catered the opening of the Hyatt Hotel in Cambridge.

• Opened Cybeles Restaurant.
